How to Prioritize Self-Care and Make Time for Yourself in a Busy World

I know what you are probably thinking: another self-care blog with the same old tips for self-care. In an effort to be authentic, I am not going to make this a typical self-care blog post. First of all, I apologize for not posting last month, but I needed to take some time for me, to rest, recharge, and to think. I could not not be talking about prioritizing self-care if I did not do it myself! Our world is so busy with to do lists, chores, being a taxi cab driver to our children, and a whole list of other things, and it can be hard to prioritize self-care. While all of those things are important, I would pose the question, how is it benefitting you doing all of those things and then being just so tired and without energy, that you don't have any time for yourself? Is it worth your health, time, and energy? No one can take better care of you than you, so why not practice a little self-care?
