Serving as your Fostering Advocate Specialist is Dr. Tisha Nicholson. In this role, she uses her wealth of knowledge as well as her lived experiences to provide more detailed or customized support and resources to the foster parents she works with. Specifically, this service offers individuals personalized help on navigating the foster care system, resources to help new and seasoned foster parents, and help with deciding if you are ready to foster, as well as some steps to help you get ready. This service also offers foster parents a space where they can come with their questions and concerns that are not otherwise addressed in the regular foster parent support group meetings. This service is offered by appointment only.
